List of ingredients
- 1 Caractère Half-Baguette 140G
- 2 slices of white ham
- 3 to 4 thin slices of Emmental cheese
- Semi-salted butter (or soft butter according to preference)
- A few leaves of salad (optional)
- 1 pickle (optional)
Preparation steps
- Cut the baguette in half lengthways.
- Generously butter both halves of the baguette with semi-salted (or unsalted) butter.
- Arrange the slices of ham on the bottom half of the baguette.
- Add the slices of Emmental cheese on top of the ham, spreading them out evenly.
- Add the salad leaves if you want to add a little freshness to the sandwich.
- Cut a gherkin into thin slices (optional) and place them on top of the Emmental.
- Close the baguette with the top half.
- Serve immediately with the side dish of your choice (chips, salad or just plain).
