- Baguette or baguettine
- 125 g fresh burrata cheese
- 10 multicoloured cherry tomatoes (red, yellow, orange)
- 45 ml green pesto
- A few fresh basil leaves
- A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon zest (optional)
Preparation steps
- Cut the bread in half lengthways.
- Spread the pesto generously on each half of the bread.
- Cut the burrata into thick slices and arrange on the bottom half.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters and arrange them around the burrata slices.
- Add a few fresh basil leaves.
- Season lightly with salt, pepper and olive oil.
- Close the baguettines with the top half.
- Serve immediately with a crisp green salad or wrap up for a summer picnic.
